How To Use

1
Create a tournament
Tap + New Tournament from the home screen or the header. Give the tournament a name and select your mode: Rotating Partners (partners rotate each game; everyone plays everyone in a balanced schedule) or Fixed Teams (you assign players to fixed pairs that stay together the whole tournament). If you want only yourself to control score entry, check Lock score entry. Leave it unchecked and all players with courtScore accounts can enter scores too.
2
Add your players or teams
In Rotating mode, type each player's name. In Fixed Teams mode, set the number of teams and fill in two players per team, no team name needed. Either way, names auto-suggest from previous tournaments and emails are pre-filled if on file. Email is always optional.
3
Score your games
Games are automatically scheduled. In Rotating mode, every pair of players partners together and faces every other pair. In Fixed Teams mode, every team plays every other team once. Find your game in the fixture list, tap it, enter both scores using the number pad, and tap Save. Curious how the schedule is built? See How It Works.
4
Track the standings
Switch to the Standings tab on the fixture page to see the live leaderboard. It updates automatically as scores are entered, no refresh needed.
5
Play the Finals
When enough games have been played, tap Generate Finals on the Finals tab. In Rotating mode, this creates a single match: rank 1 + rank 3 vs rank 2 + rank 4. In Fixed Teams mode, the top two teams play each other directly.
6
Finalize the tournament
Tap Finalize Tournament when you're done. The creator, any co-admin, and any participating player (when score lock is off) can finalize. This locks the results, records the winner in the all-time leaderboard, and emails a full results summary to any players and the creator who have an email address on file, and to co-admins who have results notifications enabled in their account preferences.
